Lieutenant Colonel (Retired) Alan J. “Al” Ornoski is a decorated combat veteran and respected security professional with over 35 years of combined military and private-sector experience in risk management, executive protection, and crisis response.
A former infantry officer in the U.S. Army and Pennsylvania Army National Guard, Ornoski commanded soldiers from platoon through battalion levels and earned the Bronze Star Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster, the Army Commendation Medal with “V” Device, and the Combat Infantryman’s Badge. His distinguished career also included two assignments with the elite 75th Ranger Regiment, where he refined his leadership and operational acumen in high-threat environments.
From 2017 to 2023, Ornoski served as Vice President of Operations and Country Manager for TigerSwan Iraq, overseeing all security operations nationwide. He managed Protective Security Details (PSD), convoy operations, and static guard programs supporting U.S. and international clients. Ornoski also chaired the U.S. State Department’s OSAC Iraq Steering Committee, advancing collaboration between the private security industry and diplomatic entities.
